I am writing to ask you not to establish a "dot-xxx" domain for pornography.
Please "adopt the findings of the dissent, or option #3."
The negative impact of "dot-xxx" and the proliferation of pornography is
extremely harmful for families which are the building block for society as a
whole. As a mother and a wife I am gravely concerned over the impact of
allowing this to be established. I am further concerned over the effect this
will have on child pornography and human trafficking. This can only
contribute to and strengthen these problems. If you have ever had anyone you
love become a victim of one of these atrocities you know the great
lifelong-psychological trauma this inflicts on a soul. Most of the time
these people are victims against their will at a young age. We cannot
condone any human being to be held, sold, or coerced against their will. It
is unethical and illegal. What if it happened to you? The death sentence
inflicted on them causes many to become rapists, serial killers or other
violent crimes weakening our society and killing the human spirit. No good
can come of this.
Please, please do not allow the dot-xxx domain for pornography to be
established.
