Dear Rod,
First of all, I applaud you and your organization for addressing the problem of
porn on the internet.
Please re-consider your proposed changes. The key problem is ICANN's choices
do not include any enforcement mechanism. If you don't have some teeth in the
regulations, you'll double the amount of porn. Porn will take over the new
area and stick to their existing domains. With ICANN's role, you are in a
position to pass rules/penalties and force the move of porn to your new "fenced
off" area.
If you can't make a positive difference in the "family area" of the internet, I
urge you to do nothing. Leave it "as is".
Please reconsider your rules and put some enforcement into your registration.
With enforcement, I can support the proposed separate porn area and I applaud
you for thinking about porn separation.
