Dear ICANN,
As in all addictive behaviors, the
easier it is to get to or obtain (drugs,
booze, gambling), the more there are who
will become addicted. Culture worldwide
is declining so please do not make porn
any more accessible.
I oppose governmental controls on the
internet and think that inviting porn
sites to move to their unique
designation will 1)tempt governmental
controls and 2)simply provide porn sites
another, more obvious, outlet...they
would continue to maintain the original
sites as well. In other words, it would
provide the porn purveyors free advertising.
I support Option #3 of the March 26,
2010 process options submitted by ICANN
for public comment.
ICANN should vote to adopt the
dissenting opinion of the Panel's
Declaration on the basis that the Board
thinks that the Panel's majority opinion
was wrong and that the Board's conduct
was consistent with ICANN's Bylaws and
Articles of Incorporation.
Sincerely,
Richard Tyler
