One aim of the fast track process is to understand what are the complexities,
issues and perhaps solutions related to IDN ccTLDs. One significant question
in this context is âHow would multiple strings per language or territory be
handled?â From an academic point of view, it can only be addressed, if we
can have more than on IDN ccTLDs per territory. Limiting the number of strings
to one per territory, as currently being suggested in the fast track approach,
will not help us prepare properly for such issues for the PDP. Of course, a
conservative approach may still be followed in the fast track process for this
purpose.

Best regards,

Sarmad
