We need more certainty on the internet, not less.

Even assuming that the registry monopoly does not use the loophole,
the fact that they might will destroy confidence in all future plans.

The only winners will be the extensions (e.g. com or net) that do not
have this option as that is where the investment dollars will migrate.

Wait, there's going to be 1 more set of winners:  a mass expenditure of
money for lawsuits.
