Proposed New Registry Agreement
Dear ICANN: The proposed new .info Registry Agreement should not be approved as is. ICANN has an appropriate and useful monopoly on the creation and regulation of TLD's. It is also appropriate that the current (or any future) registry manager has a monopoly on that function. However, it is entirely inappropriate for a registry manager, as a monopoly, to have the ability to set domain registration/renewal pricing. For the registry manager to have the ability to charge differing amounts for different domains is entirely inappropriate, as well. Please do not approve these proposed domain registry revisions for this or any other registries.
