NO to .INFO Price Control Removal - Monopolies Require Public Protection

Dear ICANN,

 

Thank you for the role you have played in the development of the internet.

 

It has become a critical part of the business landscape.  But, because
registrars are essentially protected monopolies, rational economic policy
should continue to guide ICANN and internet policy.

 

I agree wholeheartedly with those posting to the comment site that your
proposed policy change opens the door to much potential mischief.

 

Please do not remove price controls which are already in place.
