Vehement NO to proposed new IRT policies

The new proposals strongly suggest a coercive tactic employed by vested
interests and shockingly
backed by ICANN. It is my concerted opinion that ICANN is losing its
objectivity in representing
its true backbone i.e domain owners and fast becoming a subservient
organization pandering to big business.

It is perhaps time that ICANN needs a change of guard with more
international representation and elections that
reflect more members from the community at large. Perhaps ICANN itself needs
to be truly internationalized and
take into account the global community at large instead of remaining a
coterie of bureaucrats seeking to justify
their existence by tamely conforming to the line proposed by those able to
wield money, power and exert pressure.
