[jig] Invitation as Observer to the ICANN IDN Variant Issues Project Case Studies

Dear JIG Colleagues,

On behalf of the ICANN IDN Variant Issues Project (VIP) team, I would 
like to invite the JIG to nominate an observer to participate in each of 
the IDN VIP case study teams.  As you know, six case studies are planned 
- for the Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, Devanagari, Greek and Latin scripts.
The Call for Volunteers for the case study teams has now closed, and the 
VIP project team is working on finalising the membership of the teams - 
an announcement is expected next week.
On Saturday, 18th June 2011, in Singapore, an all day project meeting is 
being planned at which the case study teams will meet together in 
plenary session and in individual breakout working sessions.  Details 
will be announced as soon as possible.
We would be very pleased if an observer from the JIG could participate 
in each of the case study teams in Singapore, and we look forward to 
hearing from you on this.
