RE: Employ Media's TLD Charter Amendment
Dear Chairman Dengate Thrush and Members of the Board:
My name is Michael V. Weiss. I am president and Managing Partner for
www.MilitaryHire.com. I am writing to you today to urge you to reject Employ
Media's request for authority to permit second level registration of strings
that do not correspond to an employer's name in the .jobs sponsored top
level domain. The very idea of allowing Employ Media the right to sell all
.Jobs TLD domains as well as have the first right to purchase thousands if
not millions of sites themselves appears to be a violation of the United
States Antitrust laws. United States antitrust laws prohibit
anti-competitive behavior and unfair business practices.
Once again, please add our name to the list that opposes this request. I
will make myself available if you require any additional information.
Respectfully,
Michael V. Weiss
