Copyright owners (or those who claim to be) already abuse rules and laws in
place (including DMCA in the United States) to silence legitimate, legal
forms of speech.

Making it easy for anyone willing to pay to shut down and seize a domain
would make it trivial for corporations and industry groups to improperly
take control of domains.

There should be a higher barrier to seize a domain, not a lower one.

Actual cases of copyright or trademark infringement can and should be
handled in appropriate court systems.
