Intelectual Property Rights
All, I, and Digibase Operations must with utmost urgency urge ICANN to reconsider its position on URS (Uniform Rapid Suspension). URS would ultimately prevent the internet community from growth and provide the IPC the tools only a court room should have access to. While I do understand the needs for intelectual property to be protected, there are already legal methods in place and anything else would be a subversion and perversion of justice. While neither I, nor my organization are .net registrants, I represent many organizations that would be impacted negatively with the IPC's desire to subvert due process and therefore once-more URGE ICANN to reject the IPC's proposals. The mere fact that URS has been proposed is a sign that the IPC is no longer objective on their role in these negotiations. In closing, URS is a grave offense to the original intent of the internet. To be a network of networks without a central authority. URS would implement that authority: the IPC. -- Kradorex Xeron <kxeron@xxxxxxxxxxx> Founder, Chief Administrative Officer IP Network Specialist, Systems and Networks Administrator Digibase Operations, Research and Development <http://digibase.ca/> Attachment:
