[npoc-voice] Two new NPOC membership applications

Dear NPOC Colleagues, dear NCSG Executive Committee:

I'm pleased to report that two Caribbean organizations have applied for
membership to NPOC:

   1. The Internet Society - Trinidad and Tobago Chapter - www.isoc.tt -
   Cintra Sooknanan, Chair and Tracy Hacksaw, Vice Chair
   2. The Barbados Association of non-governmental organizations -
   http://www.bango.org.bb/ - Roosevelt Oswald King

Membership request forms were submitted to NPOC representatives during the
NPOC meeting at ICANN (Tuesday 11:00-12:00) in San José. As soon as all
required documentation ( proof of NFP/NGO status under proper
jurisdiction), the membership will be approved by NPOC-EC and then
submitted to NCSG-EC.

Given the joint statement by NCUC-NPOC made in San José, I expect we are
entering a new era of prompt approval of all eligible and documented new
members.
