Dear NPOC Colleagues,

Please refer to the email and attachment below from Vanda Scartezini, the
Chair of the Nominating Committee (NOM COM). We were not invited at the San
José meeting of the NOM COM, which I think was unfair to our Constituency.

Please review the skillset and experience in the attachment and share your
views. I propose to compile and summarize the NPOC views and pass them on
to the Nominating Committee. Also please spread the news in your networks
and encourage good candidates to apply. We need to have the NFP/NGO
community well represented at the Board level. Most likely, our work here
will benefit on the next round of nominations...but if you think of an
obvious candidate right now, please do share.

Please note the deadline of April 2nd... it is very tight as we learned of
this only in the second to last day of the conference.  I guess, as the
newest constituency, we will have to get up the learning curve without much
help it seems.

Last year We contact ACs + SOs and its constituencies in order to get their
views related the best profile Board member must have to guide our
selection process. We got from those interviews, several ideas and made a
resume of such profile. This time in Costa Rica we went back to talk with
all available groups to present to them the resumed profile ( these
information are demanded by ATRT) ****

 We them got their feedback if it reflects their suggestions or we need to
add or withdraw some items. ****

 The attached presentation was showed to all communities we could access
during CR and can give you the view of such task.****

  To make it simple, please review with your group the skillset and
experiences resumes at such presentation and give us your feedback.****

Thank you for your  participation, congratulations for the position and let
me reinforce that the application window will close next April 2nd, so
please help us to spread a word among your and your group networks to have
a good pool of candidates!****
