[npoc-voice] NPOC 2013 elections - Reminder that nominations close next Thursday 14th March

Dear colleagues,

There is plenty of room for more nominations but time is of the essence!

We do not have a full slate of nominations yet. If you run (remember, you
can self-nominate), you have a very good chance to be elected.

I know most of you are very busy (and travelling in some cases) and may not
have time to ponder your options.

Let me say that NPOC is growing, accessing more technical, administrative
and financial support than ever before, from ICANN and also from new
sponsors and partners showing more and more interest in our Constituency.

Volunteering for these positions in NPOC will be more rewarding, in 2013
and beyond, than in our early years, when Debbie and Amber were carrying
the entire load under difficult circumstances (I will never say thank you
enough!)

After much work by our volunteer Executive Committee Members,  there is now
a very healthy and robust spirit of collaboration in NCSG, which will
multiply NPOC's capacity to advance the mission of subtantially increasing
the voice of Not-for-Profits and NGOs in ICANN policy development and
increasing the voice at ICANN of NFPs/NGOs in developing countries.

Please take advantage of the new context at ICANN and NPOC to advance your
professional and your own institution's goals, network in the DNS industry,
access learning opportunities and advance your cause: come and join the
growing team at NPOC's Executive Committee!

I encourage all to vote; please let Klaus Stoll (NPOC Membership Committee
Chair) and the GNSO Secretariat (The NPOC elections administrator), who
will vote for your organization, the principal or the alternate rep (only
one vote per organization).
