[npoc] Appointment of Ms. Cintra Sooknanan as Interim Vice-Chair of NPOC

Dear NPOC Colleagues,

Following the recently announced resignation of Lori Schulman for personal
reasons, and until the NPOC election replacement process is duly completed,
an interim Vice-Chair is being appointed. After comprehensive fast track
consultations in Toronto, I have appointed Ms. Cintra Sooknanan of the
Trinidad & Tobago ISOC Chapter to that position.

I am very pleased to welcome Cintra to the Executive Committee of NPOC.
Cintra has been active in both NPOC  and At Large and her experience will
be important to her new role in NPOC.

I am grateful to Cintra, as well as to Olivier Crépin-Leblond and Tracy
Hackshaw for their collaboration and support in making this interim
appointment possible.

Cintra will take up her new role and responsibilities effective
immediately. Her first responsibility will be to join forces with
Marie-laure and Poncelet in delivering the NPOC Side Session at IGF 2012 in
Baku in a couple of weeks. Thereafter. he will second me as needed with
regular NPOC duties and with special assignments as tasked from time to
time.

Mandy, as requested in Toronto during the Internet Governance Landscape
Session, I am please to advise you that NPOC will now have 3
representatives in Baku: Marie-laure Lemineur from Costa Rica, Poncelet
Ileleji from The Gambia and Cintra Sooknanan from Trinidad and Tobago.

Please join me in wishing Cintra all the success needed!
