Dear ICANN,
I am AGAINST Tiered Pricing, removal of Price Caps, and Presumptive Renewal
for previously established .ORG domains.
Allowing a single entity to arbitrarily decide pricing with no caps will
lead to price gouging against established domains, and the presumptive
renewal policy will offer no ability to ICANN to fix this bad policy.
I have operated a three letter .org domain for the last 8 years, and now
have a community of 1700 people interested in talking about their dogs. In
addition, this group of 1700 people has provided information and help to
more than 1 million visitors just over the last year. Many dogs have been
rescued internationally including the US, Canada and China. All of this
would be in jeopardy should the price of this somewhat popular domain become
unreasonably high.
Thanks for your inclusion of my objections into the record.
