NO dot-ORG market pricing

I did NOT get a confirmation for my last submission ... I want to post for all
registry proposed agreements.
~~~~~~~~~~~
The proposed agreement with the .ORG registry - calling for market based
pricing
- is an injustice to every current domain holder and all new registrants. I
currently own 14 .org names.
What if the registry decides that some of my names should be priced much higher
than the current fixed-price renewal rates? What if I find new domains with a
.org extension - names that I work hard to create/find ... only to have those
names priced out of my financial reach because of market-based pricing?
Effectively, ALL small businesses and not-so-deep-pocket individuals &
investors
could be priced out of the market for high-quality names with the .org
extension.
ICANN, you started out with a roar ... raging against the injustices and
heavy-handed tactics of Network Solutions when they were the only registry and
registrar of .com names. I've followed the evolution of domains since back in
1998 ... I've even read the Congressional transcripts. When did you lose your
backbone to stand for the domain registrants - NOT the registries and
registrars?
Here's a tip: your funding may come from the registries and registrars ... but
your reason to exist comes from the domain owners. And, ultimately, the fees
that support you come from the domain owners. Get out of bed with the
registries. Wake-up and do your job - ADVOCATE for domain owners.
I urge you to close this major loophole for market-based pricing of .org
domains.
