effect on worldwide industries and organisations

Dear Sirs
Variable pricing is not good for ICANN as it will have to administer a colossal 
scheme on which to base their pricing. It is not good for the internet as 
people will be frightened to have domain names in case the price changes too 
much for them and it will not be good for the web owner as they will not know 
the pricing until renewal time so it will be hard to amortise the cost. Further 
they will be burdened with making appropriate returns to ICANN.
It will be a problem for security and will entice terrorists to hack as they 
will then have available information sent to ICANN by the web owners and will 
be informed as to how to target the basic structure of the Internet which could 
lead to its colapse with the concomitant effect on industry and commerce 
worldwide
