Removing the digital cert requirement makes sense and we would support this.
The cross-ownership "issue" appears to have been dealt with in a reasonably
graceful manner and should not be an obstacle to the renewal of the contract.
It is a pity, however, that the registration criteria for the TLD were not
"opened up" more, as it is currently quite awkward for a non-US person or
entity to register a .pro domain name, which appears to be stunting the TLD's
potential growth.
