These are my recommendations for the Draft ICANN President's Strategy Committee
Report:
[mark appropriate box with an X]
1. LEGAL STATUS AND IDENTITY
Encourages the ICANN Board to explore with the US government, other
governments, and the ICANN community, whether there are advantages and
appropriate mechanisms for moving ICANN's legal identity to that of a
private international organization based in the US.

Many thanks to Rudi, Hallam and Stephane for commenting on the
recommendations of the ICANN President's Strategy Committee.
They are posted here: http://forum.icann.org/lists/psc/
If you would like to weigh in on the recommendations please do send the
below form by email to me or to psc@xxxxxxxxx by close of business
tomorrow.
We'd love to hear from you and the form should just take a moment to
complete.
Hallam also suggested that we do short and sweet briefings on this stuff
in the future to give some background and context. I think it's a great
idea and we are working on that here. Unfortunately those things take
time and resources to pull together and we haven't always the time to
draft them. Despite its lumbering presence Internationally ICANN has a
small staff stretched pretty thin.
What's great about getting comments like Hallam's is that it helps us
make the business case for being more responsive and communicative.
cheers, Jacob.
