Hi.

7% fixed, and without reference to inflationary figures or CPI is
unreasonable. Rather than 7%, can the maximum increase be refered to
Consumer Price Index, or whatever the equivalent metric exists in the US
for inflation.

The capacity to remove Verisign, should it fail to perform, is
essential. ICANN must retain the capacity to remove Verisign as registry
operator.
My business, on behalf of one of its customers, has experienced
difficulties with Verisign over the past few years - having the capacity
to remove them is essential to ensure good corporate behaviour. ICANN
must retain the ability to rebid for TLD registrar over .com. Perhaps
some performance review agreement can be made, with the possibility of
taking input from non-Verisign non-ICANN entities who may have had issue
with Registrar performance.

Thanks for the oportunity for comment, and I wish ICANN well in its
efforts to negotiate this settlement.

Regards,
Leon Harris
