Opening up .pro to the public is a great idea. The domain extension is way
expensive plus has limited usage by the public. For this to be recognized
across the world it needs to be promoted. All restrictions to .pro should be
lifted. However for 3rd level extensions: .law.pro, med.pro should require
credentials.
This is a no brainer. Free up .pro for the world as an extension and for the
3rd level extensions such as .law.pro have some guidelines. This is a catch 22
because the only way for .pro to get caught on by the world is if the .pro
extension has all restrictions removed so people can use it for their
services/products. It is also very expensive for users to register. I think
price wise it must go down. Prices for the .law, .med can remain.
Thanks,
Costa
