Dear Karla,

please be so kind to find enclosed, the joint GAC-ALAC Statement in
response to the Second Milestone Report drafted by the Joint Applicant
Support Working Group (JAS-WG)  for Expanding Developing Economies
Participation in the New gTLD Program.

The GAC will shortly be sending this joint statement to the Board of ICANN.

This joint statement was ratified in an accelerated procedure by the
ALAC on 4 August 2011.
