re settlement

Dear Sir,

I am a reseller of domain name from Nigeria and I read
about your intending agreement with verisign.  I think
you should reconsider it in that it is not going to
give room to competition and also lead to regular
increase in price yearly.  This is not good not for
emerging market like ours where internet penetration
is being to gain impetus.  This will make the cost of
internet services more unaffordable to the average
customer here in our country.

Furthermore, one of the things we have particularly
enjoy here and that has promoted the use of the
internet is the low prices of domain name
registration.  What this means is that web master like
me can easily add domain name registration as
incentives to our customer to encourage them to go
online.  Any increase in prices will greatly harm this
service in this part of the world.

I will like to appeal to you to please reconsider
signing the settlement and explore other options that
will benefit the general internet community.
