Settlements seems unfair

Hi Everyone at ICANN,

It seems quite unfair that an agreement has been reached to increase price of 
.com TLD
Also, it is not fair to avoid competition in the maintenance of .com registry, 
as it encourages monopoly.

It is always better to go in for competitive bids or some other realistic 
mechanisms for vendor/service provider evaluation so that there will be real 
competition and the consumers will be really benefited both on the cost as well 
as on the service front.

Hope that consumer concerns will be cared about.
