Opposition to cybersafety petition.

I would like to register by complete opposition to the proposal to form a 
so-called cybersafety constituency.  It is clear from the original 
proposal and the flood of cookie-cutter support that this is simply an 
attempt by a religious pressure group to implement net censorship based on 
their particular credo.

One man's pornography is another man's art.  There should be no attempt to 
censor material offered to users.  If parents wish to protect their 
children from material they deem offensive, then they can do so by care 
and supervision without imposing draconian anti-free-speech restrictions 
on the general population.
