RE: [soac-mapo] Revised Summary of Recommendations - Please comment by EOD today
Chuck, sorry but I already started making edits before I received yours. So here they are, attached. I realized that makes it harder for Margie but it would be even harder for me (6 hours ahead, way after midnight) and hey, Margie gets paid for this and I don't! I do have some substantive issues which are reflected in wording changes. On the whole a good capture of the discussion but in a few places she either got it wrong imho (ACs and community objections) or perceived consensus where there was none. I made some edits in the attached version that I believe are all minor and tried to avoid changing any of the content, leaving that for WG members to deal with. I also inserted a few comments/questions for consideration. To make it easier on Margie, please insert any changes you have in my redlined version unless Margie suggests otherwise. Chuck From: owner-soac-mapo@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-soac-mapo@xxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Margie Milam Sent: Friday, September 10, 2010 4:05 PM To: soac-mapo Subject: [soac-mapo] Revised Summary of Recommendations - Please comment by EOD today Importance: High Dear All, As discussed on our telephone conference today, please review the attached summary of issues and recommendations by EOD today. To suggest changes, instead of making general comments, please redline the document to provide the exact language that you prefer. Since we covered so many topics on today's call, I wanted to make sure I properly captured the recommendations so that a doodle poll can be prepared over the weekend to gage the consensus levels for each recommendation. Please note that I included suggestions regarding the consensus levels in brackets where there seems to be some indication of support, to highlight what the report could look like. Please look for a doodle poll on Sunday, and we ask that you respond by Monday morning (prior to 10am PST or 1700 UTC) so that we can compile the results in time for the Monday CWG call. I also plan to update the Draft Report to include the revised recommendations this weekend so that we can discuss final changes to the Report on our call on Monday. Thanks to all of you for your prompt assistance in this regard. Best Regards, Margie ________ Margie Milam Senior Policy Counselor ICANN _________ Attachment:
