Dear Edmon, Jim, and WG members,

As we agreed at our last IRD-WG meeting, support staff have drafted the 
attached slides (in .ppt and .pdf) for your review for the two briefings on the 
work of the IRD-WG at ICANN Silicon valley meeting.  We’ve tried to keep the 
slides brief while including as much information as possible from the comments 
we’ve received thus far in the public forum.  These slides are an amalgam of 
those we used for the outreach forum (which you reviewed previously) and a 
brief summary of comments received in the forum.  We’ve also included some 
background information, but just for reference — not for presenting.

There are two opportunities in San Francisco for the IRD to brief the 
community.  The first is a 25-minute briefing to the GNSO on Saturday the 12th. 
 The second is a 60-minute meeting of the IRD-WG on Thursday that will start 
out with an update on the Interim Report.  We suggest that we could use the 
same slide deck for the two meetings.  Here are the details:

Saturday, 12 March 2011, 17:05-17:30, Tower Salon A, Lobby Level: Briefing of 
the IRD-WG to the GNSO (15-minute presentation; 10-minute Q&A)
Thursday, 17 March 2011, 9:00-10:00, Olympic, 2nd Floor: IRD-WG Update on 
Interim Report (15-minute presentation; 10-minute Q&A; balance of time for 
IRD-WG meeting/discussion)

Edmon — Please let us know whether you would like to brief the GNSO if you are 
available.
Jim or Edmon — Please let us know which of you would like to do the briefing on 
Thursday, or if you would prefer that staff do it.
All WG members: Provide your comments/questions on these slides not later than 
NOON EST/1900 UTC on WEDNESDAY, 09 March.
