Comments of the British Brands Group

The British Brands Group provides the voice for brand manufacturers in the
UK. 

 

We wish to add our support to the submission made by AIM (the European
Brands Association), echoing the concerns raised over the costs and risks
that the recommendations would pass to brand owners, the need for a
mechanism to protect rights and for protection to go beyond "identical
matches" to matches that are intended to confuse.

 

We also wish to echo AIM's comments on the Uniform Rapid Suspension System.
