         For two years, I have held the position of Managing Director/Chief
Executive Officer of NorBelle. Before coming to NorBelle, I was an Officer
with Verizon Communications in the U.S. So I come to this question with some
significant background in both wireline and wireless communications.

         NorBelle has been engaged with the mTLD initiative and reviewed the
ICANN process to
> allocate a mobile Top Level Domain (TLD). We hereby express our strong
support for the allocation of a .mobile
> TLD and look forward to working actively and as appropriate, with the mTLD
> organization to achieve a mobile-specific domain name grant. We see this
grant available for use by all of our
> <customers/members/partners> and to the greater benefit of the Internet
and mobile
> industry.
