On behalf of Oracle Corporation and its affiliates, I am submitting

to express our support for both the proposed Strawman Solution and the
Limited<br>
Preventative Registration. <br>
<br>
The recommended changes to the trademark claims service and the
creation of a streamlined <br>
process allowing registration across hundreds of new domains and
registries are both <br>
much-needed enhancements to existing trademark protections in the new
gTLD framework.<br>
<br>
The enhanced trademark protections outlined in these two proposals will
protect not just IP owners, but <br>
members of the consuming public who rely on trademarks to identify the
source<br>
of goods and services and the parties in whom they put their trust when
doing business online. <br>
