I have to agree with most of the earlier comments - sticking to the policy
as it is now leaves our customers open to fraudsters and makes it far too
easy for domains to be lost.

The transfer procedure is insecure - a procedure initiated by the losing
registrar as suggested would be effective in allowing the losing registrars
to verify the identity of the registrant before allowing a domain to be
transferred.

Any system where missing an email spells the end of your domain is not a
good one!
