The importance of Whois information

Dear Sirs,

I represent many trademark owners in disputes regarding infringement of
trademarks. Nowadays infringements very often happen in the Internet and
there are also many infringing domain-names. It is crucial for the
trademark owners to obtain information on the holders of the domain
names in order to be able to take actions against the infringements. 

Also for consumers the information of the domain name owners is
important, since sometimes it is the only information available on the
company/person behind a certain website.

Therefore the whois information should be kept available for anyone as
it currently is.
