Mothers and other .xxx detractors read this
For all the people who believe that .xxx domains will make easier for children to access porn and/or bring more porn to the internet, you are wrong. If porn is allowed ONLY on .xxx domains, it will be way more easier than today to filter out porn on personal computers (let alone stumbling on porn by mere accident): block all connections from a .xxx site or server on the web browser, it is childplay (no pun intended). You wouldn't believe how difficult it is today to automatically block porn (huge and ever-changing websites blacklists, text and pictures analyzers...) and there is no 100% successful solution. For those who think that .xxx domains is a way to acknowledge (or even approve of) porn and disapprove that, know that porn is like prostitution in that, whatever how fiercely you disapprove, there will always be porn and prostitution, at least clandestinely. We cannot help that. So, in my opinion, we should use every means available to keep porn under control and .xxx domains are one of them. Thumbs up for .xxx domains ! Seb |
