I have read with some concern, other comments on the .xxx domain. The negative
comments worry me as they both show a lack of understand of the vast positive
aspects of such a domain and ignorance to the mass good it will perform. Most
of them are asking questions riddled with fears about something they see as
bad.  As for me, pornography IS bad and a poison or disease to be dealt with;
not hidden from. I want nothing to do with it: That's why I am in favor of
.XXX.

Cancer is bad and not all of it can be cured. But to deal with it with fear and
hiding will only make things worse. Identifying bad and dealing with it is
good. Identify that which is poison.
I cannot stop anyone from indulging in it, but this will help me and my young
family stay away from pornography.

Speaking of worse: yes pornography does seem to be getting worse. The current
system offers no control or enforcement. I applaud the movement for an .XXX
domain and am thankful that many religions and churches, not only Christian,
endorse it and have spoken in favor of it. They are standing up against
something they believe is bad, not hidding from it. The people who fear
pornography should be so couragous too - stand up to something that will
IDENTIFY that what you believe is bad. No, you cannot force people who deal
with pornography to have a .XXX domain name, but for every one that does there
is both a benefit for them and for the people who do not want porno.

For example, what if you went to the grocery store to buy some say, tomato
soup. Consider if none of the cans had labels. How could you tell what you
were
buying? If you picked out a can, you my have what you wanted but it may contain
something bad and poisonous - you could not tell under you open it.
(open or pop up). By then whether you ate it or not you would have been
exposed to whatever was in the unmarked can.
You would not comment against labeling food products, now would you ??

For those that peddle pornography, there is no censorship; no loss of rights.
Identify your product so those that want it can find it; those that don't will
not buy from you anyway.

Good people: Think Think Think !!!. This is something good. The .XXX domain
IS a giant step toward controlling what you fear and are against.
