.xxx is nothing more then a money grab, that will become a censorship tool.
Dear Board, The net was founded on being an open place for free speech and ideas. .xxx could be the first extension to be used as a tool for censorship. There are politicians in the US that already want to make .xxx a law in the US.Mark my words .xxx happens within one year it will be a law. ICM is a cash grab nothing more if it was to truly protect the children, domains would be 7 dollars not 60 and IFFOR would already be an active organization. Also how can ICANN vote on this when its based on IFFOR making rules and IFFOR doesn't exist. ICANN doesnt have the whole picture to vote on and considering the IFFOR is a big part of their application,why is a vote happening without IFFOR being active?. If the adult community wanted this, it would of made moves to get this extension. Instead someone with no experience in the industry is coming in, saying they are basically going to control it.Their lack of experience is obvious when they talk about stopping illegal content . The legitimate adult industry has nothing to do with child pornography and people who are in these illegal activities don't worry about domains.
