.xxx domain increases likelihood of childrens exposure to pornography

Simply put, there will be always be people in this industry who refuse
to play by the rules.  .xxx encourages this behavior and rewards it by
making it even more profitable to disseminate pornographic materials to
non-pornographic sites.  By locking legitimate adult sites with trackable,
clearly adult domain names into the .xxx ghetto, it increases the likelihood
that extra profit will be made by surreptitiously going around these
measures, since less sites will be in the standard domans and thus
competition will be lessened.  Thus, the greatest advantage will be given to
those who break the rules and hide the nature of pornographic links and
materials on standard domains.  This will have exactly the opposite effect
as desired.  As a result, the .xxx measure will increase the likelihood that
children will be exposed to porn.  Many of the supporters of .xxx refuse to
consider this, blinded by the supposed profits they will make as a result
of "dot xxx" domains.  It would be a shame if the effects of childrens
exposure to inappropriate materials were disregarded in favor of the
almighty dollar.
