[alac] Gov objection to a proposed TLD
Questions....Is there any precedent for any government's objections to a TLD that resulted in withdrawal of the application or outright rejection by the ICANN Board before its final approval? Is there any precedent that any government forced a reversal of a TLD (or other) decision that had been finalized by the ICANN Board? I am reminded of the outrage at the time .kids was turned down, but the DOC didn't reverse it. kids.us was created instead, which has turned out to be a huge failure, but that's another story. Thanks JP
