Dear Tina,
Thank you so much for your attention in this important matter. Your efforts
are a proof of the ICANN commitment with multilingualism and broad
participation.
We will probably ask for more time to comment once the traslations get
posted on the website. (We will need more time in order to get comments from
the differents At Large structures that are working with us.)
As we´ve discuss this issue in our last conf call a few days ago, I´m copy
the ALAC in this mail.
Best Regards,
Sebas

Hi Lynn, Sebas,
I know the initial suggestion was concerning translating additional IDN
related documents (of which one was an IETF internet draft). However, we
have decided internally to initiate this work (try it out if you like) with
one document, that is the draft revised IDN guidelines.
The announcement and document is available at:
http://www.icann.org/announcements/announcement-20sep05.htm
While we are using a professional translation bureau, it would be a really
good idea if we could get some technical oriented people to review these
translations for technical correctness.
Do either one of you have good ideas/knowledge about individuals that might
be available to help us out? The translation will be provided in Spanish and
French.
Tina
PS. I am unfortunately not able to issue/post the documents before review
have been made. However, I am able to postpone the deadline for comments on
the document if necessary.
