Subject: government for, the people: p-mail-address@PS.US

Presently .US is used for the United States - (.FED, .MIL, .GOV are or are preferred USA federal government) - and other countries similarly.

We've been separating the government from the people:
I think we should reverse this trend on the internet:

I'm suggesting that the proper domainname of the USPS United States Postal Service should be PS.US for every p-mail recipient in the USA. And similarly for every country: it should be easy to p-mail people.

The US Post Office will then develop a generalized addressing routine that can find any reasonably addressed individual person or company, eg. occupant.1234.main.st@kansascity.kansas.ps.us shall be as readily found as 1234.main.street.Kansas-City.Kansas@ps.us. Total flexibility!

I'd like to see these short domain names retained, and get more use.

/rkp
