market share |

Remember when WordStar had the lion's share of the word
processing market?Along came WordPerfect and they took the market because of innovation,
customer preference and more to offer. Then came Microsoft (although they grabbed
market share using dirty tactics). They were neck and neck with WordPerfect
for years. They then withheld OS code from Corel and took over using unfair
business practices. Linux is making inroads now. So is Star Office, WordPerfect
for Linux... Well... ICANN is restricting trade, making much of the world angry
and ignoring small business and individuals. They have sided with the select
special interests of IP and mega corporations. Meanwhile, innovations are being
created outside the ICANN framework and, like WordStar, burying their heads in the
sand. Stay tuned...
