I sent the following to Neulevel's legal department, I don't think I am giving away
any secrets by sharing their response...I tried to ask the same question a little
more diplomatically.Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2001 2:06 PM

Subject:
ORSC registered names and STOP
Greetings,
I have several .biz domains that
I am currently operating under the ORSC. These sites are all live and are used in
my normal course of business.
I have applied for state and federal trademarks
for some and others are registered corporations.
What would be my standing
for those domains, and my other .biz domains during the sunrise period?
Thanks
in advance,
Tim M. Muldoon
from Neulevel...
You have indicated that you
have registered a .biz name on the ORSC name space. Your registration of the
name is limited to the alternate root on which you have registered and if you wish
to register the name on the authoritative root you will need to follow the process
ICANN has approved for registering .biz names. To service the demand for .biz
domains, we have developed a three-step launch process, ensuring fairness and professionalismevery
step of the way.
...and it goes on the detail the steps for registering.
