- Some of us like to choose, some of us don't like being told what to do by people who think it's moral to overrun the other roots, just because they might get in the way of a megabuck deal.

[Orwell]...a boot stomping on a human face forever.[/Orwell]

- Some people think they own the net

[Dominator]And some of us *do*...[/Dominator]

- and can do what they like with it

[echo]MUAHAHAHAHA!!![/echo]

- some people don't want competition,

How about this: I'll put up an alternate root that automatically redirects everyone from www.aol.com to www.aolsucks.com, and randomly shuffles everyone else! I'm sure I could sell it to people like you..

- then they can charge you what they like for the services they provide

Got news for ya: ICANN already *could* do that, if they weren't a non-profit organization. They're not supposed to make money. I'm sure there was something about that in the agreement, or they would be raking it in.

- then in the end, because not enough people will stand up and say NO, they will tell you what to buy and even what you can say!

Mind control: The game everyone wants to play.

- Don't you understand this?

If you only knew.
