And with the many new TLD's there will be reduced incentive to buy up domains for
resale at rip-off prices. See my earlier posts on this forum about a Compromise
that ICANN could make with IOD, New Net and Atlantic Root.
As for the trademark issue, maybe Garry Anderson's idea
of an identifier TLD (he says .reg, I say .rtm, .rsm, .tmk, and .smk) for registered
(and unregistered) trademarks and servicemarks, is the best or even maybe the ONLY
solution?
