I have registered several .biz domains in addition to being one of the few web hosting
companies that host the .biz domains.But, I do take issue with one part of your
comment.

The word 'property', Atlantic Root's agreement is very clear
about not granting rights of any nature to .biz (or any gTLD) extension which is
common for trademark law.
Nolo Press has a very good book 'Domain Names: How to
choose & Protect a Great Name for Your Website.' The latest update came out in May
2001 and includes sections on the .biz domains.
