I think the best way to describe it is that the sunrise procedure was unfair to begin
with -- too many generic words have trademark status with somebody somewhere -- but
it was turned from bad to completely intolerable by the overwhelming prevalence of
fraudulent "trademark" citations. I don't know how they're going to fix this...
who's going to spend the money to challenge every one of the fraudulent registrations,
given that the challenger (if he's not a trademark holder himself) won't even end
up with the domain after it finishes?
