If it holds true that a registrar is only submitting "closed" lists i.e. they have not opened the list to the public, Afilias should exclude them from the process altogether.

Being an accredited .info registrar must stipulate that in doing so, they must be accepting public applications! Again this falls back on the legitimacy of the process and follows the models being applied in the securities industry etc. At this point in the game, everybody knows who had an open list and who didn't.

If not, this would be yet one more blunder on the part of Afilias in a series of fiascos that point to them being extremely extremely incompetent. Either this or plain corrupt.

Afilias is either a den of fools or den of thieves, take your pick!

Personally, I'm leaning towards plain incompetent fools!!
