Subject: Revised ICANN disclaimers for pre-regitration

Registrars are being asked to include the following additional disclaimers in addition to the one stating that by pre-registering you are not guaranteed to get a name:

......

This is an ICANN sanctioned process, as such it is of an experimental nature (gaming of the system is very lickely), furthermore ICANN expects to become a defunct organization in the near future.

ICANN is committed to providing sufficient after the fact decisions that would ensure that the resolution of matters arising from this ill-conceived process will provide endless hours of angst and rich material for legal wrangling.

In doing so, ICANN hopes that eventually we will work out all the kinks from our process in due time for the rollout of the highly desirable .sucker and .incompetence TLDs.

In view of the fact that this is a highly mismanaged and confusing process, ICANN believes that millions being committed by ill-advised Landrush applicants will constitute a miniscule amount in relevance to other famous blunders and will be nothing like the billions wiped out of the .com meltdown.

Please remember that ICANN is committed to the political-correctness and successful-marketing of TLDs and that as an organization we draw on years of know-how acquired from highly regarded bodies such as the "International Olympic Committee" and "Savings and Loans Council"

Finally please remember that our motto is: "We are not sure but at least we are trying"
