As if any commercial enterprise would use the GoArmy.com domain.  Yeah, right!  And if one did, it would be misleading.

But, Dan's point is well-written overall.  I just think his example was not very good.

BTW, many community colleges choose .com because .edu is denied them for some odd reason.  [I do not blame them for not wanting to use collegename.cc.statename.us domain.]
